SHIMLA - THE QUEEEN OF HILLS

I jumped into this year with a trip to Shimla .I love to explore new places,and it's just amazing when you have your friends with you. What else you want then?
It was just so refreshing and much needed break .Cool breeze and locations are so soothing and relaxing.
I visited some places in Shimla with my friends . Some of you must be aware about these places but I want you to know about these places too.

CHRIST CHURCH
 It is the one of the oldest churches of North India . It is one of the most popular destinations in Shimla for tourists.

THE RIDGE 
The Ridge is an open area where most of the cultural activities of Shimla takes place and on other days there remains crowd of people hanging out in this place .The view of hills is so mesmerizing .

THE MALL ROAD 
The Mall Road is a place where people can hangout .It has shopping and eating points .It also consists of Govt. Offices and will definitely give you a hint of British architecture .

KALI BARI TEMPLE 
Kali Bari temple is a Hindu temple devoted to Goddess Kali and is situated on Bantony Hill .It is believed that Shimla city is named after Goddess Shyamala (another name of Goddess Kali ).

LAKKAR BAZAR
LAKKAR Bazar is a market consist of wooden articles .Products made my wood are the main centre of attraction for the tourists . Wooden articles include small wooden toys, sticks, kitchen articles, showpieces and many more stuff .
This market also have food stalls, artificial jewellery stalls and hand made things that help people to earn their living.

LOWER BAZAR, SHIMLA 
Lower bazar is situated level lower than The Mall Road .This market is an inexpensive market and you are going to get daily usable items like groceries, fabric ,shoes ,clothes ,books etc. in reasonable price. The market have so many narrow streets and hustle of people . The market gives the feeling of old time markets that we watch in our movies .

Last to last week was a blast of fun and enjoyment . You must be thinking why I am so excited elaborating it ,Why not ! it was the wedding of my friend .  Wedding took place in a very beautiful location in Palampur and it was a traditional Himachali wedding. For me weddings are all about dressing up , dancing, enjoying and having lots of fun .
